opinion thread
so, before i lose it again - the thread - i thought i saw something about poets not witholding - but that's nonsense - i see you all doing it - all the time - don't tell me you're not - and isn't it the point? what you hold back is what i grasp, and in that motion is the creation. now that i can think a little again, i have been catching up on my regular reads: here a descent into some thousand-bound parenthetic nightmare of hellenilispian proportion. it's ancient greek, but it's not ithkuil, is it? it's not the in-specificity of english, here - all of these are but the curvesome delimiters for bones (in) on(to) which (that) you carve (etch) your (her) withholding. but that's (t)here. there, on the other hand, i read a kind of love story, i think. if i deign to relinquish a moment, and bear what i hold - it's a little scary in its kindrecy, sometimes, i have to admit. the whole performance bit. can't tell the difference, neither of us. true and it's not. reveals either way. not sure withholding is possible.
